Valleys of Life
The "Valleys of Life" podcast will take you on a journey through the ups and downs of life. Each episode is a ray of hope that illuminates our path as we tread through the darkest valleys of our lives. In this podcast, we will examine how our lives can be nurtured even through the struggles and trials we encounter, how our character can develop and strengthen even in our lowest and darkest moments in life, and how we can thrive as we navigate through our valleys of life and yield the fruits of a well-lived life.
Billy Graham once said that "Mountaintops are for views and inspiration, but fruit is grown in the valleys." We therefore strongly believe that just as there is growth in the valleys of nature, there is also growth in the valleys of life, and “the God of the mountain is still God in the valley; the God of the good times is still God in the bad times; and the God of the day is still God in the night." Our God is the "God our Maker who gives songs in the night" (Job 35:10) and he can enable us to be joyful and sing even in the midst of our affliction, as Paul and Silas did in the jail at Philippi in Acts 16. God, our Maker, can also give us the grace to rejoice even when life imprisons us or leads us like captives through the valleys of life, as Paul did in the joyful epistle to the Philippians that he wrote while in prison.
This podcast is like a compassionate friend that walks with you through the valleys of life with guiding light while offering support and providing hope and encouragement during difficult times of trials, testing, and suffering that we usually face.
Join us as we navigate life's ups and downs together, finding hope and inspiration along the way.

From Confusion to Courage: Making Sense of God's Ways
Ever found yourself grappling with faith, questioning God's plan when nothing seems to go your way? You're not alone. Teddy Turner, the founder of CNN, was at such a crossroad, experiencing a crisis of faith after encountering immense personal loss. Unfortunately, our journey with faith isn't always filled with sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, it’s steeped in confusion and anguish, pushing our understanding of God’s will to its limits. In this dialogue, we talk about how crucial it is to prepare for these moments, to recognize them as an integral part of faith, and not be swayed by the prosperity gospel that often overlooks this aspect.
When life tosses curveballs our way, God's mysterious ways can seem baffling, even disheartening. But remember, the God of the mountain is still God in the valley. These challenging times are an opportunity for growth, for hope, and above all, for understanding God’s ways, even when they don’t make sense. As we progress in this conversation, we aim to equip you with messages of courage, peace, and the truth of God's word. Our hope is to help you react appropriately when God's ways seem perplexing, and to assure you that there's comfort, hope, and courage waiting for you, even in the most difficult times.
